What is the NEP 2020 requirement?

1. Age Group 3-8 years (foundational stage)
2. Age Group 8-11 years (preparatory stage)
3. Age Group 11-14 years (middle stage)
4. Age Group 14-18 years (secondary stage)
The most important part is that early childhood education (preschool) at the of 3-5 years.
This means that the child should be 6 years old to be eligible for Class 1.
What does the RTE Act say?
The Right to Education (RTE) Act guarantees education from the age of 6 years to 14 years.
